COMPETITION TRAINING PROGRAMME (SOLOIST)

The Competition Training Programme is catered to students who wish to take ballet training seriously to another level especially for ballet competitions. The objective of this intensive ballet training is to develop strong and expressive dancers with the necessary techniques, artistry, and performance skills in a supportive environment. We will focus more on technique strengthening, flexibility and conditioning, free works and repertoire/variation works.

Students in our Competition Training Programme are more likely to be exposed to repertoire/variation coaching for ballet competitions on both regional and international levels, performances and shows which they are trained and prepared for. This pre-professional ballet training prepares young dancers for the rigors of full-time training at any professional dance academy worldwide.

Being in the Competition Training Programme is a big commitment for both the dancer and parents. Dancers in this programme can be expected to train between 4 to 8 hours per week (1 teacher to 1 student or 1 teacher to 2 students) including their graded syllabus ballet classes.

Fees

1 teacher to 2 students – RM80 per hour/student (3 hours, once a week)

1 teacher to 1 student – RM120 per hour (2 hours, once a week)

** If students are unable to make it for class, notification need to be given at least 24 hours before class. Failure to do so, we will charge 50% of the class as there is not enough time to reschedule the studio and teacher’s time.
